1. Follow a simple schedule
As said earlier, following a very strict schedule won’t be of much advantage. Hence, follow a simple schedule like drinking 2 glasses after waking up and before going to bed, having one glass of the fluid every 2 hours, one glass after lunch and dinner, and so on. doing this, you can easily consume at least 8-10 glasses a day.
2. Say no to caffeinated, carbonated, and sugar-rich drinks
The more you are addicted to drinking stuff like caffeinated, sugar-rich, and carbonated drinks, the less you will feel like drinking lots of water. Also, these drinks make you prone to dehydration as they have a diuretic effect. To avoid going for such drinks too often, make a habit of carrying a water-bottle so that you can satisfy your thirst then and there without hunting for any artificial drinks.
3. Increase intake of fruits and fruit-juices
It is well-known that almost all the fruits contain a lot of water. Hence, eating them daily will effectively take care of your H2O requirements. While going for fruit-juices, make sure that they do not contain any sweeteners or other artificial agents.
4. Flavor your water
Bored of drinking the tasteless fluid? You can add a lot of flavors to it depending upon your likes. There are a variety of flavors available like strawberry, apple, vanilla, lemon, cucumber etc. But do this just for a change. Do not make it a habit.
